Tourists Stranded After Airlines Shutdown
HONOLULU The state’s tourism agency has secured three additional flights to accommodate displaced ticket holders for ATA and Aloha airlines, that recently shutdown.

Study: Top NCAA Seeds Are not Super in Schoolroom
If the tops teams in the NCAA tournament were ranked based on graduation rates, the No. 1 seed would be Western Kentucky, not the University of North Carolina.

US Senate Supplies Tax Breaks for Mfgs., Disconnection Coasters in Home Bill
WASHINGTON The Senate on Friday supported tax breaks to ailing Rust Belt manufacturers and Gulf Coast residents receiving grants to rebuild homes destroyed by Hurricane Katrina.
The twin amendments were the first add-ons to a bill aimed at easing the crisis in the housing market. The measure is slated to pass next week.
